Fun and Easy Halloween Crafts

Halloween Crafts

During the Fall season, many stores and online storefronts have Halloween decor for purchase. However, instead of buying your Halloween decor at the store this year, try making your very own crafts with your little ones. What better way to save money than to use materials you likely already have in your house! Below are a few spooky crafts that you can use to decorate this autumn. These easy Halloween crafts are kid-friendly and will look amazing on display.

Halloween Spider Kids Craft by My Home Based Life

These spooky spiders from My Home Based Life are made using popsicle sticks, pompoms, and googly eyes. This craft is a fun, easy activity to do with your children —and these spiders will look adorable on your mantle or in the front foyer.

Pumpkin Stress Balls by Good Housekeeping

It’s likely you’ll already have all of the necessary materials in your house to make these adorable pumpkin stress balls. You’ll need orange balloons, rice, and a black marker. This quick craft requires that you fill up the balloon with rice. From there, you can design the stress ball to look like a pumpkin by drawing on a face.

Glittery Glue Spiderwebs by Happiness is Homemade

These glittery glue spiderwebs are a sparkly craft that will add some shine to your Halloween display. These webs would also be the perfect craft to combine with the Halloween Spiders above! These spiderwebs will need to dry overnight, so we would recommend tackling this craft first.

Painted Ghost Rocks by Easy Peasy and Fun

These painted ghost rocks would look amazing on your front stoop, or even decorating the sides of your driveway. You and your children can opt for classic black and white shades, or even get creative with different colours of paint! Pro tip: once your children have painted the rocks, utilize a glue gun to stick magnets onto the back of the rocks. From there, you can decorate your fridge with the painted ghost magnets!

If you already have your Halloween decor covered, you could also have a Fall baking day with your little ones! Check out our family-friendly snacks blog here. We included some of our favourite recipes that you can make with your children that are nutritious and delicious.
