Tip #2: Make Lunchtime Fun!

In our previous blog post, 5 Ways to Increase your Child’s Focus, we discussed the importance of creating a healthy at-home learning environment. In Elizabeth Heath’s article, “11 Tips for Successful Distance Learning”, for the Family Handyman blog, she suggests that parents make lunchtime a fun activity. Parents can create special lunches, or even enlist their children’s help to make fun foods! For lunchtime, parents could make tacos, pizza, or even avocado toast! Learning from home can feel repetitive, but ensuring that lunchtime is fun can help make the day more enjoyable. Parents can even help their children practice their counting and measuring while baking!
